In 1999, when The Nine was formed, there were three of us—myself, Jeff Cutler, and Steve Tamminga. It served primarily as a part-time outlet for our combined artistic and programming skills. In 2001, after the trio pursued full-time positions elsewhere, the Nine evolved into what it is today.
Currently, The Nine is the one-man web studio of me, Jeremy Tredway. I am the husband of a wonderful wife, the father of a precious girl, and a full-time web developer for Decision Counsel. Consequently, I don't accept many new projects. However, don't hesitate to contact me, I may make an exception. The name was derived from the Muses of Greek and Roman mythology—the nine daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, who preside over the arts and sciences.[?] Hubris? I hope not. I simply believe that one's aim should always be to provide an excellence of service.
